Joanna Marling

Joanna Marling is a counseling intern completing required clinical hours to obtain her counseling licensure. Joanna attends Eastern Kentucky University, earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also has a Bachelor’s in psychology and criminal justice. Joanna currently works with college students as a graduate residence hall coordinator at EKU.

She values the importance of providing a safe, empathetic space where clients feel heard and empowered.  Joanna has personally experienced the transformative power of counseling and finds deep fulfillment in witnessing others grow and make meaningful progress.

After completing her practicum at Peace of Mind, Joanna was offered an internship due to her commitment to continued growth as a counselor, her experience with crisis management, and her ability to hear below the surface of a client’s words.

Joanna is an avid reader and enjoys all things crafting.

Joanna offers a reduced rate for new clients.
