Life can be difficult. Perhaps you can’t find your joy. Maybe you feel like you have lost your way. Do you feel hopeless, alone, afraid, stuck? Sometimes people need a listening ear, some support, or guidance. There is no shame in asking for help. In fact, it takes bravery and courage.
Celita’s goal when working with clients is to identify the root of the issues that are impacting them, and her heart’s desire is to incorporate her clinical skills and knowledge to help people discover hope for the future and to live a meaningful life.
Celita has years of experience working with teenagers in the school setting, and her ability to earn their trust and consider situations from their perspective are two of her greatest strengths.
Celita also provides pre-marital counseling for couples, as she believes being proactive and discussing the “hard stuff” ahead of time creates a firm foundation for a lasting, healthy marriage.
Celita earned her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a school counselor in Jessamine County and also holds a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling. Celita considers it an honor to walk alongside her clients through life’s dark valleys.
